Ms. Leena El-Ali

Director, Partners in Humanity Program, Search For Common Ground

Leena El-Ali is Director of Muslim-Western Relations and Middle East and North Africa programmes at Search for Common Ground (SFCG), an international non-profit organization working in the field of societal conflict transformation in 26 countries. She is publisher and chief editor of the Common Ground News Service, founded SFCG’s programmes in Lebanon and Pakistan, and was instrumental in setting up its programme in Yemen. She is also a member of SFCG’s senior management team.

Leena grew up in Lebanon, England and Sierra Leone, and studied Economics at the American University of Beirut and Oxford University. She spent over a decade as a fund manager and debt strategist in London’s financial district.
