Annual financial accounts
The British Councils financial activities are detailed in our Annual reports.
Board of Trustee expenses
Details of the expenses incurred by members of our Board of Trustees can be accessed from the How we are managed section. The expenses cover overseas and UK travel and are detailed for each trustee. Please note that Trustees, including Lord Kinnock, are not remunerated.
Pay and grading structures
The UK Pay system policy can be found on the Pay policy page. This particular document details the British Council’s UK pay system which was introduced in August 2008. It outlines the different pay bands and pay zones.
Internal financial regulations
The financial policies and procedures used to regulate the way the British Council conducts its financial activities are detailed on the Financial policy and procedures page.
