21st European biomass conference and exhibition
The 21st European Biomass Conference and Exhibition will be held in Copenhagen from 3 - 6 June 2013. The EC’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) will be coordinating the Technical Programme. The event will cover all aspects of biomass from research to industry and markets. It will also include an industrial exhibition that brings biomass scientists and engineers together with the biomass industry. More details are available on the conference website.
Information day on water innovation demonstration call
Booking has opened for the EC information and brokerage day on the FP7-ENV-2013-WATER-INNO-DEMO call within the 2013 Environment Work Programme, and will take place in Brussels on 15 January 2013. The event will also be webstreamed and the agenda is now also available. The aim of the event is to provide guidance on the preparation of proposals, to update proposers on recent progress by the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Water and to allow for brokerage amongst the participants. Registration open for conference on EU space policy
Registration for the fifth annual Conference on EU Space Policy, which will take place in Brussels on 29 - 30 January 2013, is now open. The conference, entitled 'EU Space Policy: Building up a Global Tool for Global Challenges', aims to bring together the main political and industry decision makers along with representatives of national and European institutions, authorities, industry, research centres and civil society.
