The British Council in Budapest hosted the largest Network Effect so far - around 90 participants - in March 2008 on "Exclusive Culture? Identity and Prejudice".
Young professionals from more than 20 countries participated in discussions, 'real-world visits' and brainstorming on cultural diversity and manifestations, identities and prejudices, including examples from Northern Ireland, Kosovo, and Middle East countries. A number of professional links were established during the forum, with participants commenting that it was a 'very inspiring' and 'truly enjoyable' event.
