Network Effect partners
Partners

The Network Effect events are based on working in partnership with a variety of organisations – for example think tanks, media actors, local and regional authorities, embassies, cultural institutes, community organisations, and universities from across Europe. The following partners have been actively involved in developing the Network Effect ideas, giving constructive advice, and in hosting the forums.

PRAXIS
Founded in 2000, the mission of PRAXIS is to improve and contribute to the policy-making process in Estonia by conducting independent research, providing strategic counsel to policy makers and fostering public debate.

European Union National Institutes of Culture
EUNIC is a partnership of national institutions for culture, engaged beyond their national borders and operating with a degree of autonomy from their governments. The EUNIC membership currently includes organisations from 25 EU countries and it is intended that this will grow in time to include national institutes for culture from all the member states. The total operating budget of the current EUNIC membership is more than 2.2 billion Euro per annum.

Politik-digital.de Information, Kommunikation, Partizipation
Politik-digital.de, founded in 1998, is an independent information and communication platform concerned with the internet and politics. New articles are posted on the net almost daily about political communication and new media.

Sabanci University Faculty of Management
The Sabanci University Faculty of Management's mission is to contribute to the knowledge and practice of management in Turkey as well as the world through the quality of our research, programmes, and graduates. FMAN is an exciting, innovative, highly professional place that maintains a warm, friendly environment. It develops and maintains close ties between its students, with the business community, and with a wide network of international partners.
The Corporate Governance Forum of Turkey (CGFT) was founded on 1 March 2003 as a joint initiative of the Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD) and Sabancý University and undertook a work programme as such until the end of 2004. The most important objective of the work programme was to create awareness of the importance of Corporate Governance - an objective largely achieved thanks to local and international developments, efforts of the Forum and restructuring reforms in the financial sector.

Demos
Demos is the think tank for everyday democracy in the UK. Everyone should be able to make personal choices in their daily lives that contribute to the common good. Demos aims to put this democratic idea into practice.

SNS Vision
SNS Vision is a Swedish think tank network of leading decision makers from both the public and the private sphere of society, who are committed to social and economic development. SNS Vision aims to stimulate the public debate and promotes governance research.

Kennisland (Knowledgeland)
Kennisland is an independent Dutch think tank based in Amsterdam. Their mission is to create a smart knowledge society, starting in the Netherlands. Kennisland works throughout the Netherlands and increasingly with international partners. Keywords in their work are
social innovation, open networks, new technologies, cultural crossovers, talent and creative regions.

Inštitút pre verejné otázky – IVO
The Institute for Public Affairs, established in 1997 as a civic association of experts in the field of public policy, has gradually become one of the most influential think tanks in Slovakia and Central Europe. They aim to contribute to the informed public debate, to enhance the quality of decision-making, and to engage citizens in speaking out.
