The evening started with a Darwin Now Science Cafe presented by Bas Defize of University College Utrecht. Jelle Reumer of the Natural History Museum of Rotterdam talked about human influence in evolution.

The Darwin Now exhibition has been shown at University College Utrecht until 14 October 2009 and has been on display during the conference Evolution & Behaviour , as part of the Darwin Week from 15-18 September 2009 organized by Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO) and the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW).
