Crista Ermiya's very existence unites many cultures into one person. She has a Philippine mother and a Turkish-Cypriot father, but was born and raised in the United Kingdom. She especially enjoys writing short stories, some of which have been published in the ‘Wonderwall’ and ‘Parenthesis’ literary magazines. Besides being a writer, Ermiya edits the Other Poetry magazine and has established an independent publishing house called Dogeater, specialising in poetry.
