We are not the British Consulate, or the British Embassy. We do not deal with any enquiries in relation to passports or visas.

Changes in the administration of the University and Professional exams

Since 1 November 2011 the British Council has hand most of its University and Professional exams over to Masterclass English. The CIMA and ACCA exams will still be arranged through the British Council. The British Council administration of the Cambridge ESOL exams and the Cambridge Admission tests (BMAT, TSA, HAT and PAT) is still run by the British Council. 10 February in rotterdam: the future of language by david crystal

The author of Cambridge University Press's encyclopedic reference to the English language, Professor David Crystal, is to return to Rotterdam's 'Groothandelsgebouw' to complete the 3rd and final part of his lecture series, 'The Future of Language'.
The topic of this final lecture is 'Internet Linguistics', an area of research that he himself initiated.

BBC and ESU Awards 2012

Public speaking, young writers and digital voice award

The three BBC and ESU Awards (for young people between 16 and 20 years old) form a common focus for developing effective English language skills. The Awards give young people the chance to step into the spotlight and showcase their English communication skills and will enhance communication skills in English.
