British Council is organizing a workshop on Sustainable Careers in Music by the Director of UN-Convention, Ruth Daniel, the founder and Director of Respect Music, Sharon Dean and Topley Bird, UK artist.

UN-Convention is a UK based community whose main goal is to bring together like minded individuals to discuss the future of independent music aimed specifically at the grass roots of the industry. UN-Convention has organized series of music events In UK, Mumbai, Groningen and is undertaking forthcoming events in Colombia, Brazil, Australia, Belgium and Argentina. Un-Convention is a not-for-profit initiative that builds upon the opportunities available for independent and grassroots music community with the changes to the way music is produced, consumed and sustained in the 21st Century.
