What is a Chevening Scholarship?
The Chevening Scholarship Programme is a prestigious awards scheme that funds international postgraduate students who want to study in the UK. THE CHEVENING PROGRAMME IN NEPAL
Each year we provide around 2 scholarships to highly qualified and dynamic individuals. Awards are either for one-year Masters courses or for shorter courses with the minimum length of an award being for 3 months.

The scholarships will fund upto a full year of postgraduate study in the UK. This will include:

academic fees
living expenses and allowances

The scholarship allowances that a scholar receives are enough to cover the scholar's basic needs and do not allow for the support of scholar's family. Scholars are not allowed to take up paid employment during the period of the scholarship award.
