Supported by the British Council and the British Embassy, the Association of British Alumni in Nepal (ABAN) brings together those who have studied in the UK as well as participated in conferences and cultural and science events in the UK under various UK-funded training and professional development schemes.

1.An additional office as a meeting and working venue has been located and hired and inaugurated on 4th February, 2009. The office is located at Kalikasthan, Dillibazar on the road to Amrit Bhog Party Palace.
2.The inauguration of additional office followed by a Blood Donation programme organized by ABAN with support from the Red Cross Society. Facilitating role has been played by Dr. Uma Shivastava, Vice President, 6th Executive Committee of ABAN.
3.Fifth ABAN Day Celebration organized with added vigor on 7th February, 2009 at Hotel Shankar.
Membership is open to anyone who has been to the UK for academic professional or vocational training or studies for 12 weeks or more.
