British Council is running Personal and Professional Development Course at the Learning Centre in November 2013.
In this course we will look at ‘deconstruction’ technique(s) that will help you understand yourself better; discuss self management/assessment tools that will make giving and receiving feedback easier/fun, gain a better understanding of learner types and introduce the use of language (body and verbal) to enhance teaching and learning in the workplace so that you and your team members become ‘Consciously Competent’.
Objectives of the Course
- To understand oneself and build up the confidence to handle people
- To enhance communication that interests and involves the audience, is relevant, clear and structured.
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- speak effectively/analytically in general situations in an excellent manner.
- exploit the strengths of your own personality when taking part in meetings/discussions.
- take active part in group discussions/peer reviews so that your contributions are successful and effective.
- use English clearly and accurately and above all with more confidence, in a wide range of situations and on a wide range of topics.
Duration of the course: 32 Hours
Course Date: 21 - 27 November 2013 ( break on saturday and sunday, 5 days intensive course)
Timings: 10:00 AM -17:00 PM(one hour break in between)
Course fees: NPR 9500
Class Size: 20 students
Preferred group: Young Professionals
