 Winners of Writing Competitions

In April 2008, our Creative Writing  students looked at writing short stories. The quality of work was very high and the class voted for Criminal? by Bartika Rai as the best, with Little Ghost by Dikshya Devkota runner up. Keep an eye out for more short stories written by Creative Writing students in future – who knows, these young writers could become famous some day!

In May/June, 30 English teachers will be trained in modern communicative teaching methods by experienced teacher trainers from the British Council and Global Action Nepal.

In June/July, the successful trainees will travel to Solu Khumbu, Baglung and Kailali to train 240 primary teachers in local resource centres.
