If you are not quite sure how to fill out the online application form PLEASE FOLLOW FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS

• select the date for the test
• select the city for the test
• select the module
• click Find
• click on “Apply” for the test date and city you selected
• read through the Terms and Conditions and at the bottom of the page, Check “I Agree” and Click “Continue”
• fill in all the details marked * This is compulsory
• click “Continue” after filling in all details
• confirm all the details. If all the details are correct, click “Apply Now”
• print the page (IELTS application summary) and go to the British Council cash counter to make the payments (along with 2 passpost sized photos and photocopy of your original passport.)
• submit all the documents along with payment slip provided by cash counter to British Council Information and enquiries desk.
• You are now registered for IELTS. You get a free access to ROAD TO IELTS online preparation course. Access details will be sent to your email address used during registration.

After online registration, Do not forget to submit following to the British Council

• copy of IELTS application summary
• clear photocopy of your valid Passport.
• two coloured passport size photographs with out eyeglasses (not older than six months)
• Standard Chartered Bank deposit slip of Rs12600/- issued from the Standard Chartered Bank Counter located in the British Council.

Tests for listening, reading and writing module will take place on the same day. The speaking module may take place within a week before or after the other modules.

If you wish to change your test date, you must inform us at least five weeks before the test that you have registered for.

We charge a reregistration fee of Rs 3000 each time you change your test date.

Cancelling your test

If you wish to cancel your test, you must inform us at least five weeks before the test that you have registered for. You must return the original receipt at the same time. We cannot give a refund without the original receipt. We will refund 75% of the test fee.

If you do not attend the test on the date you have registered for without informing us , we will not refund any of the test fees.

Results

You must collect your Test Report Form(TRF) from our Examination Services. You can collect the result (TRF) 13 days after your written test. You can also see your result form here.

If you cannot collect your TRF in person, you must give your representative a signed letter of authorisation and the photocopy of your passport . We also need a photocopy of any valid ID of receiver

We are not allowed to issue you more than one copy of your TRF. However, we can send TRF to foreign institutes that require you to submit them. We will charge actual courier services costs.

If you would like your test to be remarked, we can send your scripts to cambridge within 4 weeks of the results being issued. In this case another examiner in the UK remarks all your test papers. We will charge an equivalent of £ 60 in Rs. This process takes 8 to 10 weeks.
