After you register for a course, you can only change to a different course if your teacher recommends this.

You cannot transfer your place in a class to someone else. If there are not enough students in a class, we might cancel the class.  We will offer you either:

a place in a different class at the same level
a credit
a refund

We can only normally give you a credit or refund:

if we cancel a class

To receive a British Council certificate, you must attend at least 80% of the course, do regular homework and pass the end of course test.

The British Council is closed on some national holidays.  If any national holidays take place during your course, we will reschedule the cancelled classes.

The British Council might close on days when there is a 'bandh' or other public disturbances beyond our control. If these take place during your course, days missed in excess of one will be rescheduled. We will reschedule no more than two classes for this reason.
