Who can join our courses

Our adult courses are open to anyone of 16 years and over. We also offer courses for children from 6 -13 years of age.

How to decide which course to join

You need to take our placement test.  This helps us to recommend the best course for you.

The placement test takes about one hour.  It includes a written test and a short interview with a teacher. At the end of the interview we will tell you which course would be best for you.  You can join any course that is at your level.

If you decide not to register for the first available course, the result of your placement test is valid for six months.

How to register

You can register after you finish the placement test.  Registration is first-come-first-served, so you should register as soon as possible after the test.

Take your placement test result to the British Council reception, with the fee for the course.

Coursebooks - you do not have to buy any books when you join our courses.

Other study materials - we have a selection of materials that you can buy to help you to prepare for the IELTS exam.
