Our Creative writing course will develop your ability to write imaginatively and creatively so that you can produce writing that will give readers real pleasure.

You will learn how to :

			create believable characters
			develop plots and story lines for your characters
			provide settings for your characters to live in
			write dialogue for your characters to speak
			create mood and drama
			write effective beginnings to stories

We will study examples of great writers and practise what we learn from them.

By the end of the you will have produced a short story - the best one of the class wiill be posted on our Creative Writing Competition page. It will also feature in our upcoming publication,'The best of the British Council's Creative Writing Class'.
