Rajab Abdul Rahman
RGB. Every rapper has a nick name. My real name is Rajab. When I wanted to get a nickname, I wanted to stay close to the original Arabic name so I abbreviated my name to English to 3 letters: RGB

Last show we played was a 4-day concert in Al Madina Theatre on Hamra Street in Beirut. When we created the concept, the situation in Lebanon was politically unstable and very negative. We put the show “Poet in the street” because we wanted to speak the street language not use weapons or fight.
Music has always been my way of life since early childhood. I listened to music and connected with the way it expressed real life experiences that were similar to mine. Hip hop always spoke of things close to my personal daily life. Also music is the best way to communicate without borders, complications or biases. I chose hip hop because I can express myself in that genre.
“Hip Hop is Dead” by NAZ. I believe things are very different in Lebanon from the way they are in that album.
I don’t have a favourite one. I like many musicians especially the ones who sing about culture and roots.
I would like to go to the moon!
