The members are a group of Moroccan Scholars who were awarded the Chevening scholarship scheme and graduated from different British Universities. They have various backgrounds and different degrees (MA, MSc, MBA, PhD) but they all share the same values and the same objectives.
The Association was created in April 2000 and has as a main objective maintaining a network among Chevening Scholars who are dedicated to Morocco’s local development.
The association of former Moroccan students to the UK, holders of the Chevening scholarship, aims to :
Promote understanding and solidarity among Moroccan Chevening scholars |
Contribute to their professional and personal development |
Set up sustainable development projects in co-operation with Moroccan authorities and/or British partners |
Strengthen political, economic and cultural relations between Morocco and the UK |
Establish links with other Chevening Alumni around the World |
If you have studied or trained in the UK, why not join the Association of British Scholars Morocco and get involved in our events?
