Selection criteria, deadline and contact details

You can apply for chevening scholarships if :

you are a graduate student with proven academic skills,
have already begun a career in your chosen field, at least three years' working experience, with an excellent track record illustrating your achievements,
you show evidence that you will become a leader in your chosen field,
you have good English language skills. Most UK Higher Education Institutions require a minimum IELTS of 6.5 for admission onto postgraduate courses,
you show a commitment to return to Morocco, where you will contribute to the country's socio-economic development using the new skills and knowledge acquired during your stay in the UK,
you show an interest in good governance, the media, and the political, diplomatic and commercial interests of Morocco.

How do I apply?

You must apply to the British Council Morocco. Ensure that you read the notes of the requirements. A Curriculum Vitae and two reference letters (one professional and one academic) should also be sent with the application form. All documents should be in English or translated into English.

When can I apply?

Applications for Chevening scholarships 2009/2010 are now closed. The application form for 2010/2011 will be available in November 2009.
