Cambridge level four that offers a lower-advanced language qualification for your of you who need to use English in their jobs.

It is mostly taken by university students and young professionals. Many universities recognise CAE as an English language entry requirement.


To register download the application form (Word format 39 KB) And send it to the British Council before the deadline with a cheque.

How do I pay for examinations?

  1. At the British Council - Rabat or  Casablanca ( Cash and Cheque)
  2. By post - Post a cheque with your application documents. Indicate CAE registration on the top left hand corner of your envelope.
  3. Bank Transfer

If you are from another city other than Rabat or Casablanca, you can deposit the fee in the British Council bank account:  For more information about the bank account, contact Sara Meksi on 05 22 52 93 60. Please don't forget to mention your name and CAE in the bank receipt.

You need to send afterwards the payment receipt either by fax to 05 22 52 09 64 or make it scanned to the following email address:  exams.morocco@britishcouncil.org along with your completed CAE application, a scanned photo  (JPG Format) and a scanned copy of your ID /passport.

The speaking test is not taking place the same day as the written tests. It is organized one week before or after the date of the written test. The dates for the oral exam will be communicated only after the registration deadline as this depends on the number of candidates.

We need a minimum of 10 candidates per session. If this number is not met, the session will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund.

Important: The British Council will not accept liability for any delays in postal and banking services. Cheques must be drawn in favour of the British Council, crossed Account Payee, and endorsed on the reverse with Candidate Name, Passport number and Address.

Schools
If you have more than 25 students we can organize the test in your school ( in Casablanca or Rabat and for more than 50 students in other cities). Extra dates are available for schools. You need to contact us at the beginning of the school year or as soon as possible.
