Why take a Cambridge exam?

English as a Foreign Language (EFL) exams help you assess your ability to use English in real life communication. If you want to improve your employment prospects, seek further education, or are preparing to travel or live abroad, one of theses will be the right exam for you.

What levels are available?

EFL exams for adults and young adults- over thirteen years old-.

Key English Test (KET):Elementary- Pre-intermediate
Preliminary English Test (PET): Intermediate
First Certificate in English (FCE): Upper-intermediate
Certificate in Advanced English (CAE): Advanced
Certificate of Proficiency in English(CPE): Proficiency

EFL exams for children aged seven to thirteen years old ( Young Learners English Tests: YLE)

Young Learners Exams (YLE): three levels (A1, A2): Starters: Elementary, Movers: Pre-intermediate, Flyers: Intermediate

You can take these exams at British Council Morocco whether you attend our English courses or not.

Before deciding which exam you want to take, test your level.

EFL exams and you:

You can benefit from courses at the British Council Teaching Centre, which are linked to the exams at various levels.
You can take any of these exams depending on your level, or work your way through all of them until you reach CPE or IELTS .
The exams test all four skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking.
CPE, CAE, IELTS are accepted by UK and US universities as proof of their language level entry requirements.
You benefit from the worldwide reputation of Cambridge University.
