This year, for the British Council 2nd involvement in the Rawafid Festival (23 to 27 July 2004 in Casablanca, Place Mohammed V), we were delighted to welcome TY and his band back to Morocco.

Ty had already been in Morocco last year to support DJ Pogo's performance at Boulevard des Jeunes Musiciens 2003. This year, he came back with his musicians for a full live performance on the 25th July 2004.

Since his last visit to Morocco, Ty has had a lot of success in Europe and is starting to make an impression in the US.

He is considered the best UK MC by many and has videos programmed on MTV and MCM, just to name a few.

He delivered a workshop for local MCs to share his experience and provide guidance on the 26th July at British Council Casablanca.
