You can take either the Academic or General Training Reading and Writing modules. The Academic Module is recommended for people who wish to study at a university abroad. It tests whether a candidate is ready to follow an undergraduate or postgraduate course through the medium of English The General Training Module is suitable for students who wish to complete their secondary education in an English-speaking country, for participants of work experience / training programmes, also used for immigration purposes.
The test has four parts covering all four language skills - listening, reading, writing and speaking. The first three modules are completed in one day, while the speaking module may be taken in the period seven days before or after the other Modules.
