Fresh Science is a national competition run by ScienceNow! to identify some of Australia’s most exciting but unreported science achievements by younger researchers.
- Enhance reporting of Australian science
- Highlight and encourage debate on the role of science in Australian society
- Provide role models for the next generation of Australian scientists
- Enable interaction with appropriate British counterparts.
Fresh Science will select some of Australia's brightest young scientists to present their latest research to the media and public in Melbourne during National Science Week.
The best Fresh Scientist wins the prestigious Fresh Science Award which includes a professional visit to the UK and the opportunity to present their research at Royal Institute of Great Britain courtesy of British Council Australia.
