Yes, everyone is welcome to join. You probably need a minimum of three years teaching experience to benefit fully from ELTeCS, and novice teachers may find the TESL-L list (see www.tesol.org) more useful - at least to start with! |

Is membership of ELTeCS free? |
Yes, membership of ELTeCS regional networks is completely free. Membership of national ELTeCS networks - ELTeCS India, for example - is currently free but may in future cost a small amount each year. |

How can I find out about past and future ELTeCS activities in my own country and region? |
How can I make contact with other ELTeCS members in my own country? |
By making a posting to your regional list, introducing yourself and explaining the topics on which you'd like to work together with your fellow members. ELTeCS does not make public the e-mail addresses of its members, for reasons of data protection, and also because this could mean that members would receive large amounts of unsolicited e-mail. |

Why do the ELTeCS lists carry advertising? |
To help cover the administrative costs of running the lists. Any surplus over and above these costs is added to the fund available for ELTeCS bids. Only adverts likely to be of professional interest to ELTeCs members are carried on the lists, and each list carries a maximum of one advert a day and five adverts a week. If you're interested in advertising on an ELTeCS list or in ELTeCS Info, please contact Mike Solly |
