ARTS AND CULTURE
The British Council has a permanent programme of cultural and artistic activities in 4 priority areas: theatre, music, design and visual arts.
Theatre, music, design and visual arts

With the purpose of presenting, in all the forms of expression of the art, the vibrant, artistic and cultural scene of the United Kingdom, the British Council organizes a series of activities that promotes creativity, innovation and learning. It is through these activities that we work towards the strengthening of our cultural relations with Mexico working in collaboration with the National Council for the Culture and the Arts (CONCULTA), National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA), National University of Mexico (UNAM), The National Centre for the Arts (CENART), Cervantino International Festival and private institutions from all over the country.

As part of our activities we organise:

  • Concerts
  • Workshops
  • Conferences
  • Exhibitions
  • Chats with artists and British specialists
  • Seminars

At the same time, we present British groups and artists in events such as Cervantino International Festival and the Festival of Mexico at the Historic Centre.
