• The Postgraduate Certificate in English Language Teaching is a new and exciting one year online English language teacher education qualification delivered by the British Council Mexico, leading to a University of Southampton UK award.  
• The programme provides a comprehensive introduction to current theory and practice in Applied Linguistics and Language Teaching through four main content blocks: Communicative Methodology, Language Analysis, English for Specific Purposes, and Approaches to E-Learning.
• On successful completion of the Certificate there is direct entry from this course into the 2nd semester of the University of Southampton MA in English Language Teaching.
