Note: A deposit into our account does not guarantee your enrolment in the class. Please bring in your receipt to receive confirmation of enrolment at the British Council. It is important that you first complete a placement exam before making a deposit.

•In case of refund of a cheque from a bank, a deposit needs to be made equivalent to the cheque amount plus bank commission and IVA.

Taxation Receipt: If you need a tax receipt (factura) with the IVA calculated, we ask that you notify us before making payment and present your tax profile (cedula) with the RFC code and your email address so it can be mailed to you. This information is essential for providing a tax receipt. Once a tax receipt has been sent it cannot be changed.

a.Partial payments

Automatic payments for courses for children and adolescent: If you pay in advance for the year, we will give you a 5% discount which can be paid in parts on your credit card. It is not necessary to raise your credit limit above the annual cost of the course, we can charge monthly.

It is necessary to sign a contract and inform your credit card company (VISA or Mastercard) of the arrangement. (Restrictions apply)

Three months interest free: Pay for your course or workshop over three months with HSBC, Banorte, Scotiabank or Banco de Bajio.

b.Company discounts

If you would like a group of employees to join a course on our premises we can offer the following discounts*

5% for five to nine students registered from the same company

10% for ten or more students registered from the same company.

If you are going to do an English course for adults or register your child in an English course for children and adolescents, you will need to buy a text book.

During the first and second weeks of each course, a book supplier will be at the British Council so you can buy the corresponding material for your course with a discount. You can also buy other support material such as dictionaries, books to read and more with a discount. This can help you learn English independently.

The text book will be used throughout your English level.

If you are registered in one of our workshops it is not necessary to buy material. However, you can still purchase English books at a discount during registration dates.

Don’t forget to use the tools that help you to learn English independently (link), such as Conversation Club and the Resource Centre.
