English courses in Mexico

Start: July 2012

Online learning allows you to manage your own time and study when is convenient for you.

Course 1 - TKT Modules 1, 2 and 3
Course 2 - TKT CLIL

You will be assigned an online assessor in your country that will support you via forums, instant messages and give you personalised feedback.

Your assessor will guide you through the course to maximise your time and ensure you follow the requirements of the course. You will need to work in collaboration with your colleagues and share ideas about teaching through an online community of profiles and social forums.

Duration:

You are expected to do 60 hours of study time over a period of 12 weeks. This is a minimum of 5 hours per week.

Requirements:

You don’t need a placement test, but the materials will be in English so you will need to be confident in English. You will need at least a B1 level (Intermediate). This type of learning requires you to manage your own workload and work autonomously.

Includes:

-Animated tutorials guiding students through each of the modules

-Feedback and support from an experienced online tutor

-Student wikis, forums and blogs

-Reflective teaching journal

-Detailed feedback on 9 assignments (3 for each module)

-Useful links to exam practice

-Technical support

-Subscription to Monthly Talking English Newsletter

-Access to British Council Teaching English website

What will we cover during the course?

Course 1: Modules 1,2 and 3 of the TKT course.
