The Springboard project provides personal development opportunities for women in the Middle East by facilitating the development of sustainable organisational links between the UK and countries of the Middle East It also challenges public perceptions of the role and contribution of women to Middle East and UK societies.
Springboard is a women’s development programme designed by two trainers who are leaders in the field of self development in the United Kingdom Jenny Daisley and Liz Willis. The programme was designed especially for women and has won many international awards. It enables women to achieve greater recognition and influence and to fulfil their potentials in both their work and personal lives.
This programme is run around the world for all sorts of organisations including universities, government departments, city councils, banks, the BBC, and HSBC to name but a few.
The British Council has inaugurated this programme in Arabic to help Arab women to release their potentials and achieve better positions in both their personal and professional lives.
The Springboard programme is pro-women but definitely not anti-men. It has been designed for women because research has shown that on personal development programmes, women succeed better in a supportive all female environment.
The programme suits any working and non working woman who is looking forward to achieve more in her life.
This could be a new job opportunity, a promotion, the opening of her new business, marriage… The programme will equip her with the confidence required and will give her some of the skills that will help her achieve her goal and adapt to it.
