As a key strand of the Qatar UK 2013 Year of Culture programme, the British Council is launching the Qatar-UK Alumni Network, for citizens and residents of Qatar who have graduated from a UK university with an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification.

UK graduates in Qatar are part of an illustrious community, working at all levels and across all industries, to make a significant contribution to the development of the country. The academic, professional and sector diversity of this group offers a unique opportunity for networking and professional development, which the Alumni Network will capitalise on.

The Alumni Network will celebrate the achievements of its members and reinforce the mutual understanding and appreciation of the Qatari and British cultures.

Qatar-UK Alumni Network members will enjoy:

• Professional development through sector focused events, offering unique opportunities for high-level networking and collaboration throughout the year;
