How do I register?

To register, you need to download the IELTS application form. Print this off and complete in blue or black ink. You then need to bring this, in person, to our centre in Qatar, with two passport photographs without glasses.

If you are a non – Qatari please make sure to bring a valid original passport. If you are a Qatari National valid original ID/Passport is accepted.

You must bring your original passport (valid until the test date), a copy of your passport, two recent (not more than 6 months) identical passport size photographs against a plain, clear background so that facial features (eyes, nose & mouth) are clearly distinguishable, head facing the camera with a neutral expression, eyes open and clearly visible (without spectacles), and a completed application form, signed by you.

Please note:The background colour in the photograph and the colour of the clothes must not be the same. The face must not be covered. If there is a problem with scanning the photos, we may ask you to provide another photograph.

When can I take the test?
You can take an IELTS test at our centre in Qatar. The exam starts at 0900.
The Listening, Reading and Writing components of the test are conducted on the same day. The speaking test may be scheduled either on the test day or up to 7 days before or after the test date.

What ID documents are accepted on registration and test days?

The following original, valid ID documents are accepted and a copy of the same must be attached to your application form on registration. The number of this document will appear on you Test Result Form (TRF).

  • Passport
  • Qatari National ID card and a copy of your valid passport

Please note: Only the ID document whose copy is attached to the application form will be accepted on the test day. In certain cases, you may be asked for an additional Photo ID.

How much will the test cost?
The test fee is QR 850.
(Please note that overseas candidates, who wish to pay by demand draft, must include a surcharge of QR 80).
How do I prepare for the test?
We can help you prepare for your test with an IELTS study pack, containing a CD-ROM, handbook and practice material book.  You can also join one of our English courses or IELTS preparation courses to help you achieve the best results.
Can I retake the test?
Yes, you can and the 90 days period does not apply.
How do I access my results online?
On the 13th day after your test, please log in to IELTS results page to access your results.
