Education UK fair in Oman
5 and 6 December 2012

The Education UK Exhibition supports the British Council high level objectives of highlighting the opportunities presented by UK universities as well as building long-term institutional and individual links between higher education institutions in Oman and the United Kingdom.


  • Emphasise the quality of UK Education and training at all levels
  • Provide UK institutions with a targeted market-driven audience so as to promote their courses to prospective students and parents.
  • Encourage a positive perception of the UK as a place to study.
  • Raise the quality of enquires by guiding students on what issues they need to consider when visiting the fair.
  • Give information on UK qualifications needed for entry requirements and courses.
  • Inform students of institutional facilities, fees, health services and, in the case of married students, education for their dependents.
  • Bring UK further and higher education institutions to Oman. This provides a forum in which students considering a UK education can meet representatives and learn more about courses, entry requirements and application procedures.
  • Provide both Omani and UK institutions an opportunity to meet potential partners for collaboration
  • Showcase the unique offering of UK education - tradition combined with innovation

  • Thursday 6 December 2012 - From 10.00 - 13.00 and from 16.00 - 21.00
