GEORGE’S MARVELLOUS MEDICINE BY BIRMINGHAM STAGE COMPANY

“A runaway triumph.” Evening Mail

“Family entertainment doesn’t come any better than this!” Sunday Mercury

“Fabulously creative, exactly the right note of humour and the young audience is entertained – never patronised. What more can you ask?” What’s On

Birmingham Stage Company returns to Malta with George’s Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl in a new adaptation by Stuart Paterson.

Inflating grandmas, giant bulls and chickens with elongated legs: it has all the elements of a perfect children's story. George’s Marvellous Medicine is Roald Dahl’s amazing story about a young boy who makes a marvellous new medicine to cure his grandmother of her terrifying temper. But when Grandma drinks his special new potion containing toothpaste, chilli sauce, shoe polish and flea polish, the most incredible things start to happen – and George’s adventure has just begun!

The Birmingham Stage Company is the UK’s leading theatre producer of Roald Dahl's work, with an unrivalled reputation for productions of his stories including The Witches, Fantastic Mr Fox and James and the Giant Peach. Their production of George’s Marvellous Medicine has been featured twice on BBC's Blue Peter. The production has enjoyed five tours throughout the UK, selling out across the country. It has also visited Ireland and Dubai and is now coming to Malta. If you are looking for fizz-tickling fun and wiz-popping magic for all the family, then don’t miss it!

Performances take place on Friday, November 17 at 19.30, Saturday, November 18 at 15.30 and 19.30 and on Sunday, November 19 at 14.30 and 18.00.
