COMIC CONVENTION
8-9 DECEMBER 2012

The British Council is once again supporting the Malta Comic Convention, held at St. James Cavalier Centre for Creativity in Valletta on the 8 and 9 December 2012 from 10am to 6pm

Two action packed days will be filled with artists' panels, discussions, films, workshops, games, tournaments, competitions, cosplay and more.

The Malta Comic Con is a family oriented event in which children and adults can meet international and local artists. Maltese artists, retailers and international publishing houses will be exhibiting their works and selling their products at special prices.

The artists who participated in the Images of Valletta project will exhibit their works at the Comic Convention.

The British Council is supporting the participation of a number of British comic artists, including Tim Perkins, Sonia Leong, Dave Gibbons, Dez Skinn, Glenn Fabry, James Hodgkins, Jimmy Broxton and Mike Carey.

Tickets are on sale now from St. James Cavalier website (https://ticketengine.sjcav.org/).

Tickets purchased before the Comic Convention cost €7 for one day and €12 for two days. On the day of the Convention the ticket for one day will cost €10 and for two days €15. Children under 11 years enter free. Students can use their Culture Card for this event.
