This course is for people who are interested in an internationally recognised qualification in teaching English to children.

This extension course enables you to transfer and adapt the skills and knowledge gained on your CELTA course to the young learner teaching context.


ASSESSMENT

CONTENT

• 50 contact hours with course tutors
• Input covering all areas of lesson planning and delivery for teaching children aged 8-13.
• 4 hours teaching practice
• 6 hours directed observation of lessons
• 2 written assignments and 2 tasks dealing with classroom teaching, the identification of action points and aspects of the teaching and learning of English at young learner level through a focus on young learners and learning contexts.\
