This course is for people who are interested in learning more about teaching English to children and how children learn a language.


ABOUT THIS COURSE
This course aims to raise awareness of current English Language Teaching practice with children.


CONTENT
Introduction to Teaching Young Learners shows you how to plan and deliver an effective lesson. The course lets you explore what Young Learner course books have to offer and develops your techniques for presenting grammar and vocabulary. We will also help you create and evaluate activities for skills development (reading, writing, listening and speaking).


ASSESSMENT
This course is not assessed. A British Council certificate of attendance is given to those who have participated and attended most of the classes.
