ABOUT THIS COURSE
Our part-time CELTA is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays over a 10 week period. Mornings are from 9.30am – 12.45pm and are devoted to input. Afternoons are from 2.00pm – 6.00pm and are set aside for teaching practice, feedback, and lesson planning.

Teaching practice starts from day two of the course. Course participants also observe experienced teachers at work, and are given formal written assignments.

This course provides basic training in English Language Training, ELT. The training emphasises a student-centred approach and requires extensive, supervised teaching practice in actual classes with adult learners from beginners to advanced level.

The aim of the CELTA course is to provide a solid, practical foundation for teaching, classroom management skills and a range of effective ESL / EFL instructional techniques.
