SELECTION PROCESS

31 JULY 2011	Deadline of submission of documents

AUGUST 2011	Interview and Assessment of shortlisted applicants Twenty (20) shortlisted applicants will be notified by 12 August 2011. They will be asked to prepare a ten-minute presentation on a suggested topic. Candidates will present this and be interviewed by a panel of judges selected by the British Council.

31 AUGUST 2011	Confirmation of award Five (5) successful candidates will be given confirmation of the scholarship award. Candidates are given until 31 August 2011 to provide original copy of the course acceptance from a higher educational institution abroad. Failure to comply shall result in the forfeiture of the scholarship. Candidates will be expected to attend an event where their scholarships will be officially awarded.
