Exchange visit to Macedonia - the Macedonian Values Quest team hosted their British partners, the Values Quest team from the Sefton Youth Service, United Kingdom, in Macedonia for one week, 21- 27 July, 2007. The week was fulfilled with many fun activities organised by the Macedonian Values Quest team, including sightseeing around Skopje; visit to the Monastery St.Jovan Bigorski, located in Western Macedonia; photography and art-environment workshop; participation in the Blue Sky Summer School 2007 and visit to the Smolare waterfalls near Strumica, Eastern Macedonia. |

Exchange visit to the UK - The final, and probably the most exciting for the Macedonian team, stage of the Values Quest project was the exchange visit of the Macedonia team to the United Kingdom (25 August and 1 September 2007). The Macedonian group had been looking forward to this trip from the very start of the project. The programme provided for them by the UK team, as well as the surprisingly good weather, justified this - it was a memorable experience. Both teams had a chance to meet the Mayor of Southport, enjoy water sports, visit Liverppool etc. At the end, they all realised that this end is just the beginning of future successful cooperation between Sefton Youth Service and the Blue Sky Youth Network. |
