UNIVERSITY OF SALFORD - INTERNATIONAL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP The University of Salford is pleased to announce the largest ever scholarship package for international students, the International Excellence Scholarship. There will be an unlimited number of scholarships awarded: - Awarded on academic merit only (generally on an “equivalent” to a UK 2:1) - £ 2,000 for courses with fees over £ 9,000 - £ 1,000 for courses with fees under £ 9,000 - Available for all Masters courses beginning in September 2008 or January/February 2009 - No need to apply separately - No limit to the number of scholarships to be awarded.
Students will automatically be considered on the basis of university results and qualifying candidates will automatically receive a £1,000 - £2,000 scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded on academic merit, according to strict criteria defined by the university. There is no limit to the scholarships available and The University of Salford anticipates over 500 postgraduate scholarships will be awarded this year (at a value of over £750,000).
SCI SELIGMAN FELLOWSHIP The SCI Seligman Fellowship offers an excellent opportunity to international students in food engineering to study in one of UK’s renowned centres of food technology/engineering teaching or industrial research for up to 6 months. Applications are invited from recent graduates, post-graduates or equivalents worldwide, who reside outside the UK and who are particularly involved in food engineering in their home countries.
