The British Corner was opened in the City Library “Blagoja Jankov Mucheto” on November 30th 2009 in Strumica. It offers more than 200 books, materials, handbooks and fiction books.

The Corner is aimed at pupils, students and individuals who would like to improve their English and at candidates who want to sit internationally recognised English language and IELTS exams. It has also resources for teachers and professors of English and in the future it will host presentations for the above mentioned exams and workshops for teachers.

The Collection is financed by the British Council Macedonia in partnership with the largest British publishers in the area of the English language:
