The British Corner in the City Library “Brakja Miladinovci” opened on 1 October 2009. The materials donated by the British Council library are available for loan by City Library members.

The opening event was hosted by the director of the City Library, Filip Petrovski and the British Council Macedonia director, Les Dangerfield. On the occasion of the opening of the British Corner, the exhibition "Poems on the Underground" will be on display in the City Library hall in the first half of October 2009.
