about our partners

Partnerships are the foundation of Living Together. We seek to engage partners in support of each activity and event. Partners will be selected from across Europe. Here are some of the partnerships we have already created.

Council of Europe
Living Together Patron and key Pan-European partner. Visit their website.

The Faith Regen Foundation
An innovative multi-faith national charity working in partnership with the Black Asian and minority ethnic community and faith communities. The Faith Regen Foundation addresses poverty, regenerates deprived areas, and provides a range of enablement services. The organisation promotes greater understanding between faiths and identifies solutions for encouraging positive relationships within a multi-faith society. Faith Regen is the partner for the Leap of Faith Together Project.

The British Association for Central and Eastern Europe
The British Association for Central and Eastern Europe (BACEE) exists to promote a closer understanding between the British people and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and beyond and to support them in developing democratic systems and civil society. BACEE’s main activity is organising seminars and study visits, both in Britain and abroad. BACEE will support the International Summit event.

Opportunities for your business
Difference in the workplace can be sharply defined, and therefore, can affect business. However, like many challenges, it also offers an opportunity. Businesses worldwide focus increasingly to ensure that their workforce reflects the diversity of modern society. For some, this is an issue of compliance with the law. For many others, it is the result of a deep conviction that a diverse workforce leads to higher levels of innovation and, ultimately, profitability. We want to work with you and support the development of your own agenda for Corporate Social Responsibility.

Benefits for your business
Association with the Living Together project will enable your business to demonstrate your commitment to diversity. Access to the platform will provide an excellent profile and exposure for your business to a wide range of contacts including senior government representatives and youth leaders in the communities where you want to build a brand identity. In return for your support , we can offer a number of direct benefits including a profile for your business in all related project documents and an invitation to attend the International Summit and Regional Congress events in 2008 and 2009.

How can you support the project?
You can provide funding in support of one event, one component or as a contribution to the whole initiative. You can also support the project with your company expertise, rather than a financial donation. In this case, we would work together on designing a new project for mutual benefit. For more information on partnership opportunities, please contact your local British Council centre or the Living Together Project Manager, John Wonnacott.
