British Council Libya
Learn English Radio

The British Council is currently broadcasting Learn English Radio.  This is a series of drama-based radio programmes focusing on English for work and English for social purposes.  The series is aimed at learners of English from beginner level upwards.  

The story is based around a small independent 'budget' airline which operates with only one plane.Captain, Maas Obla, the owner of the airline and his crew are so committed they’ll do anything to keep flying!  The drama contains a number of interesting characters played by actors from different countries giving listeners the opportunity to hear a range of different accents.  

The programme is presented in Arabic and English on Libya National Radio and West Mountains Radio and in English only on Tribute FM.
