  • Cambridge Starters is the first key level and is intended for children between the ages of 7 and 11. Children are likely to have completed one year of English and are expected to have an active vocabulary of around 300 words.

  • Cambridge Movers is the second key level and is designed for children aged between 8 and 12. Children are likely to have completed approximately three years of English and are expected to have an active vocabulary of around 600 words.

  • Cambridge Flyers is the third key level and is intended for children between the ages of 9 and 12 who have been studying English for more than three years and have reached a level of English ability specified by the Council of Europe's Waystage document.
