The TIPD programme enables teachers from England to experience alternative educational practice in different countries around the world. The programme is funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and the Department for International Development (DFID).
In part-delivering the programme the British Council works closely with overseas partners, and with Local Authorities (LAs) and schools, to ensure that benefits are mutual and that positive teaching and learning outcomes are effectively shared.
