Application forms and guidelines

All the standard documents required by LAs, schools and teachers for planning and presenting bids.  Guidance notes, clarifying the terms and conditions of the programme, are all here and should be read by all interested parties prior to application.

These are provided in Microsoft Word format. Click on the relevant link to download the form you require. We would prefer if all forms could be completed using Word. Before actually completing any of the forms you may find it useful to print out this guidance page and follow the instructions below.

TIPD 1 Nomination of LA co-ordinator for TIPD. May also be used to advise DCSF of changed contact details.

TIPD 2 LA Outline planning proposal. Submitted annually this form officially records an LA's intention to participate in the TIPD programme. Usually completed by the LA co-ordinator.

TIPD 3 LA Specific programme proposal and LA Group Leader’s application form. Summarises the key aims and objectives for each LA group Study Visit.  May be submitted together with or in advance of all participants' application forms. Will need to be completed by the LA co-ordinator and Group Leader of the relevant visit. This form has the LA Group Leader's application form incorporated into it.

How to complete the forms :
1. Click on the relevant link to open the file.

2. Save the file somewhere on your computer, so that you can complete it off-line.

3. The forms are protected, so all you will be able to do is input text into the text boxes.

4. These areas should appear grey or black on your screen, and you can use your mouse or the tab key on your keyboard to move from one text box to the next.

5. Once you have completed the form, save it again, so that it includes the details you have input.

6.Follow the relevant instructions on each form as to how and to whom forms should be returned.  If you are sending forms electronically, a hard copy with signatures must follow by post.
