Each of the four UK countries has its own department with responsibility for vocational education and training in that country.

England - Department for Business Innovation and Skills
Sustainable economic growth is the one of the UK’s top priorities – and this is also where BIS is very much focused as well.

BIS was created to bring all of the levers of the economy together in one place. Their  policy areas – from skills and higher education to innovation and science to business and trade policy – is also helping to drive growth.

Scotland - Department for Education and Lifelong Learning
The Scottish Governments web pages containing information on universities, colleges, lifelong learning and work based training. The Scottish Government wants to ensure that everybody has access to learning opportunities that can help them achieve their full potential.

Wales - Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills
